Key Overview:
Our client is seeking a compassionate Crisis Therapist with a master's degree and Michigan licensure to provide crisis intervention and mental health treatment to adults in the community. This role involves working closely with local police referrals, offering telehealth and in-person services, and supporting clients through transitional care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide screening, assessment and crisis intervention services via telehealth to adults referred by local police
Determine appropriate level of care and least restrictive setting for services
Provide transitional support, advocacy and care coordination in-person and/or via telehealth
Be available via pre-programmed tablets for crisis calls from local police
Respond immediately to crisis calls during scheduled on-call hours
Provide crisis intervention and ongoing mental health treatment to clients receiving intensive case management, including those on Assisted Outpatient Treatment orders or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity
Deliver services in-person in office or community and/or via telehealth
Schedule and Shift Details:
Regular hours Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm, Saturday 9 am to 1 pm; flexible scheduling available; some evening and weekend hours required; on-call responsibilities during business hours and voluntary after-hours on-call coverage
Travel:
Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use at IRS standard rate (.70 per mile)

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan (MI)
Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) in Michigan (MI)
Limited License Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan (MI)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Michigan (MI)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan (MI)Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
Upon hire, the application must be submitted for the Development Plan to MCBAP, with or without the required trainings, within 30 days of hire,
