Key Overview:
This role offers an opportunity to lead and supervise a program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will oversee clinical and administrative functions, support staff development, ensure compliance with funding and quality standards, and contribute to a positive team environment. The position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment to providing compassionate, culturally competent care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and standard supervision to staff using various supervisory methods
Manage crisis situations involving staff and clients
Train staff on electronic medical records and assist with questions
Review treatment records and direct documentation improvements
Manage staff hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluation, and discipline
Participate in quality management committee and implement quality improvement initiatives
Supervise case program consultations
Ensure compliance with Habilitation Waiver, Children’s Waiver, and other funding requirements
Maintain staff credentials and training records
Conduct monthly supervision and regular staff meetings
Attend community meetings, conferences, and trainings and report to leadership
Use data from electronic medical records to monitor program expectations
Assess community needs and provide services as needed
Coordinate psychiatric, psychological, and case management services
Collaborate with inter-departmental groups for program administration
Complete required documentation and reports
Act as liaison and participate in agency committees
Complete 24 hours of annual program-specific training
Work with Program Director and Finance to meet funding and budget guidelines
Support and train staff in Person Centered Planning guidelines
Ensure services and case records meet accreditation standards
Follow professional code of ethics
Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule and Shift Details:
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with at least one late evening shift per week; additional evening and weekend hours as needed
Travel:
Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use at IRS standard rate

Required:
Master's degree or higher - Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.
Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents.
Candidate must have at least one (1) year with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.
1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Meditech MRI – Medical Records
Other EMRANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Limited License Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan (MI)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan (MI)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan (MI)
Preferred:
Experience in working with Waivers.
One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Experience with electronic medical record
